Hate crime investigation leads to charges

There are only a few details being released but the North Bay Police Service is actively investigating what they describe as a hate-motivated incident that occurred (NBPS) at a local secondary school.
Police say one young person has been arrested.
They have been charged with public incitement of hatred and criminal harassment and held for a bail hearing.
“The NBPS remains committed to thoroughly investigating all hate-motivated crimes, reinforcing our responsibility to uphold the law and protect community safety,” states a release.
