Heartwarming event involving a chilly dip
Here’s a chance to get #FreezinForAReason.
North Bay’s Polar Plunge in support of Special Olympics Ontario is taking place on March 15.
It’s one of a few dozen being held across the province with all funds raised supporting programming and events for 23,000 athletes across Ontario.
The North Bay Police Service and partners are hosting the event at the NUSU Student Centre.
At last check, nearly $11,000 has been raised so far.
