Environment Canada says a cooler air mass is expected to arrive Monday night, bringing an end to the current heat event.

This as a heat warning continues with daytime highs of 29 to 31 degrees and humidex values of 35 to 40.

The weather agency says extreme heat can affect everyone’s health.

They advise to take action to protect yourself and others from the heat and watch for the early signs of heat exhaustion.
