Higgins Patrick (Pat)

Peacefully passed away at North Bay Regional Health Centre on April 1st.2025 at the age of 64.

Pat is survived by his daughter Melissa (Omer) Cousineau of North Bay and stepson Kevin (Mary) Moss of Sudbury and partner Laurette Dolbeck of north bay. he is also survived by his siblings Rose (Jim) Hart of North Bay, Karen Bartley, Theresa (Roger) Horn, Jim (Julie) Higgins, John Higgins, Maryann Higgins all of Belleville and Danny Higgins of thunder bay. he is predeceased by his parents John and Edith Higgins, brothers Larry, Joe and Raymond and sister’s jean and Shirley. he will be missed by his true friends and many nieces and nephews and God daughter Kaileen moss.

In Pats younger years he loved fishing you could always find him on the government dock. He also had a great green thumb when it came to his veggie gardens, he spent a lot of time playing a good game of crib with whoever wanted to play him, he always enjoyed being around people, loved sitting outside chatting with anyone who passed by and enjoying a cold one. Pat was a very committed to his hockey team even though the leaf’s could really frustrate him he stayed a loyal fan, along the same line he was also a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, but the one thing he loved and cherished most was his only daughter.

Melissa would like to thank Dr. Philpson, the ICU staff and Jessica and Maggie of C1 for their wonderful care and compassion shown during his final days.

The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday April 3, 2025, between the hours of 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
