Some locally include school breakfast programs, Meals on Wheels, the North Bay Food Bank, Catholic Charities, the Gathering Place, and the Compassionate Committee for the Homeless in North Bay.

Officials say hundreds of people took in the event, which was hosted by the Pro’s Catholic Women’s League of Canada (CWL).

“Our volunteers created a very warm and welcoming Christmas holiday atmosphere, and I am blessed to be surrounded by a team of dedicated and hard-working women whose efforts produced another successful Christmas Bazaar,” says Leah Pierce, Pro-Cathedral CWL Bazaar & Tea convener. “The support of the church community never fails to bring hope to those who need it the most in North Bay.”

The event was held on Nov. 15.
