Impaired Driver Strikes Two Parked Cars

A North Bay man is facing several charges after North Bay Police Service (NBPS) responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision. A pickup truck lost control and struck two parked vehicles before the driver fled the scene.
At approximately 3:00 a.m. on September 27, 2025, police responded to reports of a pickup truck driving erratically at high speeds in the area of Marshall Park Avenue. The vehicle lost control on a corner, left the roadway, and came to rest on top of two parked vehicles. The driver fled the scene but was subsequently located, arrested, and transported to hospital for minor injuries. No additional injuries were reported. The driver displayed visible signs of impairment and, following further testing, was confirmed to have exceeded the legal blood alcohol limit.
“Drinking and driving is a serious and preventable criminal offence that has devastating consequences. Thankfully, no one was killed in this incident, but even a single decision to drive while impaired is unacceptable and puts innocent lives in danger,” says Inspector McFarlane. “Please make responsible choices and never get behind the wheel while impaired, there is no excuse for anyone to drive after drinking with many options for alternate transportation, such as, ride sharing, taxis, designated drivers, and public transit.”
As a result, Kaiden Stockhill, 20-year-old male of North Bay has been charged with the following offences:
- Dangerous Operation
- Fail to Remain at Scene of Accident
- Operation While Impaired
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)
The accused was later released on an Undertaking with a future court date.
NBPS would like to thank the members of the public who reported this dangerous behaviour. Community awareness and quick reporting play a vital role in keeping our roads safe.
