Increase in natural gas rates in Ontario
Natural gas rates are up in Ontario, including locally.
On it’s website, Enbridge Gas says the new rates started at the beginning of the month and will remain in effect through March 31.
Officials say residential customers will see an increase in their natural gas bills ranging from about $67 to $98 per year, depending on their location.

They add the overall impact of the changes will depend on how much natural gas is used and whether it’s purchased from a gas marketer.
Enbridge has over 4 million customers in Ontario.
