Jacqueline Couch
May 2, 1938 – June 14, 2026
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Jacqueline Margaret Couch nee McLeod, of Pickering on Sunday June 14, 2026. She was a proud member of Nipissing First Nation and beloved wife to Glenn Couch and mother to Sandra Couch and Nancy Allaire (Dr. Peter Allaire).
She was predeceased by her parents Fred McLeod Sr.-ban and Leda Couchie McLeod-ban and brother Fred McLeod Jr.-ban (wife Kathleen), and sisters infant Phyllis-ban, Eleanor Bellaire-ban (Albert Bellaire-ban), Dwyla Goulais-ban (Dennis Goulais-ban), Deborah Fisher -ban (Derrick Fisher-ban), Jeannette Goulais-ban (Paul Goulais-ban). She will be lovingly remembered by Larry McLeod (Darlene), Barbara Young, Lynda Lewis (Henry Lewis-ban), Angus McLeod (Nicole (Lafleur) McLeod-ban), Phyllis Anderson (John Anderson-ban), Joan McLeod Shabogesic, Theresa McLeod, Lorianne McLeod, Darlene Church (Bill Church-ban), Lee Faubert (Mike Faubert), Tammy Saulis (Conrad Saulis).
She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Alysha and Christian Allaire and her many countless nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts and uncles.
Jacqueline will be remembered for her kindness, dedication and commitment. She dedicated her life to her banking career, and in her retirement to her genealogy work of the Nipissing People.
The Family will receive friends for visitation at Holy Spirit Church, Garden Village on Thursday June 18th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. A Christian mass will be celebrated on Friday June 19th at Holy Spirit Church, Garden Village at 11:30 a.m. Funeral Arrangements in care of Hillside Funeral Home,362 Airport Road, North Bay.
