Job postings up in Nipissing in July
The number of job postings in Nipissing District was on the rise in July.
According to the Labour Market Group (LMG), there were 640 job postings that month.
That’s up substantially, by more than 45%, year-over-year while the month-over-month increase is about 9%.
“These increases provide additional support to the recent trend suggesting an increase in the Nipissing District labour market with regards to availability of employment for job searchers,” states the LMG Jobs Report.
Over 300 unique employers posted jobs in July.
The top 5 include:
- Canadore College
- North Bay Regional Health Centre
- Conseil Scolaire Catholique Franco-Nord
- Nipissing University
- Ontario Northland
Health Care & Social Assistance was the top hiring industry, followed by Retail Trade.
Educational Services rounds out the top three.
