Joseph-(J.J.)-Nakogee

It is with a broken heart that we announce the unexpected passing of J.J. at the North Bay Regional Health Centre (North Bay) on Saturday March 1, 2025, at the age of 38 years. J.J. was the loving brother to Jason Nakogee, Andrew Nakogee, Darren Nakogee, Brenda Wesley, and Raymond Wesley.

He will be lovingly remembered by his father Brian Nakogee and his Aunt Lauri-Anne Wesley. He is predeceased by his mother Annette Wesley and Jacqueline Wesley.

The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Thursday March 6, 2025, between the hours of 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A family celebration of life and burial will occur in Moosonee at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay Gathering Place, or Canadian Mental Health and Addictions would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
