Kiwanis Citizen of the Year volunteers with several local groups
Nancy Birtch is the 2026 Kiwanis Citizen of the Year for North Bay.
Officials say she’s well known for her volunteer commitments to Pack Sac Smiles, the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation, North Bay Community Foundation, MT Davidson School Breakfast program and a host of other projects.
They say Birtch quietly commits her time and a smile to everything she does.

“Thank you to everyone who took the time and effort to send us some outstanding nominees again this year,” says Alex Wilde, Kiwanis Club President. “We look forward to recognizing as many honorees as we can in years to come.”
This is the 42nd year for Kiwanis Citizen of the Year in North Bay.
A dinner honouring Birtch will be held Thursday, May 28 at the Best Western.
