Man Charged with Assault with a Weapon
The North Bay Police Service has arrested and charged a 20-year-old male for weapons offences, assault, and uttering threats.
On September 4, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m. the North Bay Police Service received multiple reports of a disturbance in a parking lot near Kinsmen Beach in the 1400-block of Henry Street, North Bay. Police attended the area and located the victims. Shortly thereafter, police located the accused. The accused attempted to flee the area but was arrested by police in the 1300-block of Henry Street.
It is alleged that the accused had threatened the victims, while they were inside a vehicle, and then proceeded to attack the vehicle with a knife, while continuing to make threats against the victims.
The accused in this incident is Atticus Dante PRIOLO, male, age 20, of North Bay, who is charged with:
- One count of Uttering Threats
- One count of Assault with a Weapon
- One count of Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
