Let's break down recycling cardboard! Corrugated cardboard is banned from the Merrick Landfill.

To ensure proper disposal, please follow these guidelines*️⃣

*Flatten:** Flatten all cardboard boxes before bundling.*

*Bundle:** Tie flattened boxes into bundles no larger than 75 cm x 75 cm x 20 cm (30" x 30" x 8").*

*Place*️⃣* Put bundles beside/in your blue box.*

*Aluminum-lined Boxes:** Boxes with aluminum lining (often used for food delivery) are not recyclable and should be placed in the garbage.

These steps help save space, simplify collection, and prevent contamination.
