LACOMBE, JOHN PRICE

John passed peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the age of 79.

Beloved husband of Judith (née Haddow) for 60 years. Loving father of Penny Vitunski (Andy) of North Bay and Adam (Meeghan), also of North Bay. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Mac and Jake Vitunski and Audrey and Nate Lacombe. Survived by his sister Darla Lacombe. Predeceased by his sister Shirley Lisk (Howard surviving) and his brother Don (Patricia surviving).

John is fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends, and former colleagues from Ontario Hydro, where he dedicated 29 years of service. John was known as a jokester and will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour.

Yet behind the fun was a true gentleman – one who could wear a tux with the best of them. He and Judith spent many cherished years cruising and travelling the world together.

At John's request, there will be no funeral service. In his memory, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
