Lafontaine, Brenda

Unexpectedly passed away at her home on Friday August 29, 2025, at the age of 68 years.

Brenda was the beloved wife of Jean Lafontaine, and the loving mother to Kevin Exner (Stephanie), and Crystal Exner. She was the cherished grandmother to Orion, Astrid, Ulrick, and Elora. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings: Sisters Wanda Kiznel (Dale), Gwen Dirk (Peter), Lucy Jackie (Darcy); and brothers Brian Dirk, Lance Dirk (Phylis), Allan, Darby Dirk (Donna), Joseph Dirk (Victoria), Gerard Dirk (Emma). Brenda is predeceased by her parents Joe and Margaret Dirk.

As per Brenda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will be receiving visitors for a celebration of life gathering at Osprey Links Golf Course (Callander) on Saturday September 27, 2025, between the hours of 1pm and 4pm.
