LAJEUNESSE, Arnold

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous battle with cancer at the West Nipissing General Hospital (Sturgeon Falls) on Friday April 10, 2026, at the age of 75 years. Arnold was the loving father to Kasey Lajeunesse and Kirby Lajeunesse, and the cherished grandfather to Kailee Martin-Lajeunesse, daughter Kirby Lajeunesse. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Gary Lajeunesse (Francine), Jerome Lajeunesse (Carol), Ronnie Lajeunesse (Micheline), Rolly Lajeunesse (Sharon), and Shirley Beaudette (late Ron). Arnold is predeceased by his parents Terrence Lajeunesse and Millie Lajeunesse.
Arnold grew up in Sturgeon Falls. He worked for Standard Paving Inc. and moved on to do his own impeccable work with interlocking stones. He was well known for his beautiful and he loved doing it.

He drove a school bus for a few years, and all the kids loved him. Arnold had a heart of gold and loved his kids and grandchild Kailee. He loved to watch sports, especially the Toronto Maple Leaf’s and the Toronto Blue Jays, along with curling and golf.

He had an infectious laugh and loved to make jokes and make people laugh. He loved dancing, especially with his daughter and playing darts in his garage. He was the most beautiful soul I knew, with so much integrity, kindness and love.

As per Arnold’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be announced with details in the warmer weather.
