Lake Nipissing one of the ‘Best Ice Fishing Destinations in Canada’
Ice fishing season is underway on Lake Nipissing, which is once again earning accolades from fishingbooker.com.
The lake has been named one the ‘Best Ice Fishing Destinations in Canada. Nine lakes are on the list.

It goes on to say ‘Lake Nipissing blends the charm of a cottage-country classic with the energy of a four-season playground’, adding ‘North Bay buzzes in winter as the lake becomes a snow globe of ice roads, sunlit shacks, and endless horizon’.
The only other lake in Ontario on the list is Lake of the Woods, which also borders Manitoba and Minnesota.
Lake Nipissing was also featured on the 2023 list.
