Marcel is predeceased by his parents Louis Landry and Jeanne (nee Lebel) Landry.
Marcel passed leaving behind a legacy of love, craftsmanship, and cherished memories. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who placed his family above all else.
Renowned for his exceptional expertise in the auto body profession and his masterful woodworking, Marcel was a true jack-of-all-trades whose hands could build or fix anything except as he would say, “I can fix anything but a broken heart”. He had a deep love for the outdoors and fondly looked back on the many years he spent hunting alongside his brothers and children. Even in his last months, Marcel took great joy in recounting those adventures, keeping those vibrant memories alive for his loved ones.
Beyond his trades, Marcel’s true passion was horses. He was a familiar face in the equestrian community, partaking in numerous horse events where he and his beloved horse, Fury, frequently placed highly in their division. His gentle spirit and connection with animals were evident to all who watched them compete.
When he wasn't working, in the woods, or at the stables, Marcel could be found embracing life’s simple pleasures. He had a profound love for country music and dancing. His family will forever remember his strength, his stories, and the enduring dedication he showed to everyone he loved. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank all who supported and cared for him during his last few months.
As per Marcel’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will be receiving visitors at St. Bernadette Church (Bonfield) on Friday October 23, 2026, between the hours of 11 am to 1pm.
