Lanes Reduced on Parks Creek Bridge

Traffic on Lakeshore Drive at the Parks Creek Bridge will be reduced to one lane in each direction, with the two centre lanes closed beginning Monday, April 13 until further notice.

A portion of the bridge’s central structure requires rehabilitation. As a precaution, the City is closing this section to traffic while interim repairs are planned and scheduled.

The bridge’s centre section was originally constructed in 1923, with widening projects completed in 1941 and 1963.

The City will continue to provide updates as planning progresses and timelines are confirmed.
