Laurent "Larry" Marasse
December 21, 1943 ~ December 31, 2024 (age 81)
Unexpectedly passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday December 31, 2024, at the age of 81 years. Larry was the beloved husband of Shirley Marasse, and the loving father to the late Laurent Marasse Jr. Jean “John” Marasse (Breanna), Michel Marasse, and Angeline Marasse (Brian).
He was the cherished grandfather to Gabriel, Christian, Jaxson, Brooklyn, and Asher. Larry is predeceased by his brothers and sisters, as well as his parents Aime and Marie Marasse.
A long time active member of AA, Larry faithfully upheld the values of the program, having lived his life “One Day at a Time”. The family of Larry will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay), on Sunday January 5, 2025, between the hours of 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Memorial Mass at Sacred Heart Church (Corbeil) will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by his family. O
