Leclerc, Louella (nee Lozon)
1947 – 2026
Peacefully passed away at the Northern Heights Nursing Home in North Bay on Saturday January 10th, 2026, at the age of 78 years. She is predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) Leclerc. Louella was the loving mother to Caroline Leclerc, (Michael Rosseter) Michael Leclerc, and Nicole Leclerc. She will be missed by her siblings Angela Schmitchen (Bob), Betty MacDougall (late Jim), Bernida Allan (late Keith) and Thersea Horne (Bob). She is now reunited with her granddaughter Brenna John-George (Caroline)as well as her siblings Clara Fleury (late Vic) and the late Ronnie Lozon.
Louella loved all her nieces and nephews and often got together with her family to celebrate birthdays and special times. Born and raised outside of Chatham in Grande Pointe on the 10th concession. She was proud to have served her community by being a Roman Catholic Board Trustee for 17 years. She attended St. Agnes Catholic Church for many years and was deeply involved within the church community.
As per Louella’s wishes a cremation has taken place and a private memorial mass will be held at a later date in Chatham with final resting place in Grande Pointe. If desired donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be gratefully appreciated by the family.

Elle s’est éteinte paisiblement au Northern Heights Nursing Home de North Bay, le samedi 10 janvier 2026, à l’âge de 78 ans. Elle était prédécédée par son époux Robert (Bob) Leclerc.Louella était la mère aimante de Caroline Leclerc (Michael Rosseter), Michael Leclerc et Nicole Leclerc. Elle manquera profondément à ses frères et sœurs Angela Schmitchen (Bob), Betty MacDougall (feu Jim), Bernida Allan (feu Keith) et Thersea Horne (Bob). Elle est maintenant réunie avec sa petite-fille Brenna John-George (Caroline), ainsi qu’avec ses frères et sœurs Clara Fleury (feu Vic) et feu Ronnie Lozon.
Louella aimait tous ses neveux et nièces et se réunissait souvent avec sa famille pour célébrer les anniversaires et les moments spéciaux. Née et élevée à l’extérieur de Chatham, à Grande Pointe, sur la 10e concession, elle était fière d’avoir servi sa communauté en tant que conseillère scolaire du Conseil scolaire catholique pendant 17 ans. Elle a fréquenté l’église catholique Sainte-Agnès pendant de nombreuses années et était profondément impliquée au sein de la communauté paroissiale.
Conformément aux volontés de Louella, une crémation a eu lieu et une messe commémorative privée se tiendra à une date ultérieure à Chatham, suivie de l’inhumation à Grande Pointe. Si désiré, des dons à l’Association canadienne pour la santé mentale seraient grandement appréciés par la famille.
