‘Let’s Remember Adam’ Fill the Bus Toy and Food Drive back for a sixth year

A donation drive for the Mattawa and Area Food Bank returns this weekend.

The sixth annual ‘Let’s Remember Adam’ Fill the Bus Toy & Food Drive takes place from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday in Annie’s Park.

Along with monetary donations, non-perishable food items, health and beauty supplies, and new, unopened toys (for children aged 0-14) are being accepted.

Officials say over 250 families are on the food bank’s Christmas Basket list this year.

“Your generosity will help ensure that every child has a gift to open, and every family has food on the table,” states the committee.

There’s also a donor appreciation draw, visits with Santa (Noon to 2 pm) and free refreshments.
