LMG Job postings report ‘paints’ stability

The Labour Market Group reports 500 job postings were recorded for Nipissing District in March.
Both are slightly higher year-over-year (0.8%) and month-over-month (2.2%).
“This trend paints stability and while a slight growth, it picks up on the December/January trend of increasing job postings, following the minor decline in February,” states the LMG March Jobs Report.
The top five employers posting jobs include:
- North Bay Regional Health Centre
- Ontario Northland
- Nipissing University
- Conseil Scolaire Catholique Franco-Nord
- Voyageur Aviation Corp
Health Care & Social Assistance was the top hiring industry followed by retail trade then educational services.
