LMG reports ‘relatively stable’ recruitment activity
The Labour Market Group (LMG) says the results were mixed with job postings in Nipissing District in November.
There were 447 job postings recorded that month.
That’s down slightly (0.7%) from October, but up 15.5%, year-over-year.
“Overall recruitment activity remains relatively stable for this time of year,” states LMG in the November Jobs Report.
The top five employers posting jobs included:
- North Bay Regional Health Centre
- Voyageur Aviation Corp
- Nipissing University
- West Nipissing General Hospital
- Ontario Northland
By industry, nearly a third of the postings involved Health Care & Social Assistance.
Retail Trade was a distant second, followed by Educational Services.
