Local filmmakers put to the challenge with 48-hour film competition

The theme is horror, but it’s likely the 48-hour timeline to get the movie done that will frighten local filmmakers the most.

Near North Mobile Media Lab and the North Bay Film Festival are hosting their 48-hour film competition Oct. 18 to 20.

Registration for filmmakers of all ages and skill levels is underway until Oct. 8.

First place wins $500, a screening at the film festival (Nov. 15-17) at the Capitol Centre and more.
