Lucille Labreche
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucille Labreche who died Monday, November 4th, 2024, at the age of 95. She was born on July 29, 1929, in Val Gagne, ON to the late Donat Giguere and Germaine Grenier. Pre-deceased by her husband Armand.
She was the devoted mother of 9 children: Rita (Georges), Jean-Guy (Anne), Yves (Desange), Rene (Debbie), Lorraine (John), Estelle, Claudette (Jan), Francine and Remi (Donna).
Cherished grandmother of 15: Michel, Richard (Kathleen), Sylvie (Denis), Joanne (Kevin), Lynn (Kevin) Sylvie, Anne (David) Leigh Anne (Melissa), Vanessa (Christopher), Candice (Daniel), Alexis (Matt), Denis (Sandra), Dustin, Ryan and Riley.
Treasured great grandmother of 17: Victoria, Kristopher, Jessica, Jordan, Brandon, Brianna, Khali, Mathieu, Michael, Katelyn Ann, Isabella, Makenna, Nathan, Alexandre, Alivia, Jacob, Jordan and Lucie.
Also, great-great grandmother of 3: Dalton, Dillan and Marcus
Will be sadly missed by 2 brothers: George and Andre (Estelle) and 4 sisters: Therese, Jacqueline, Marguerite (Marcel) and Colette Lawrence), sisters-in-law Marguerite and Yvette. Pre-deceased by 3 brothers: Philippe, Roland and Alban and 2 sisters: Helena, and Rachel. She was greatly admired by many nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
Lucille will be fondly remembered for her love of cooking and family gatherings, also for her resiliency, compassion, willingness and eagerness to help others. Her understanding, kind and genuine spirit have touched the hearts of so many. She held strong values and was devoted to her catholic faith.
The family sends heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful and outstanding staff at Cassellholme nursing home for making our mother feel extra special.
The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Sunday November 10, 2024, between the hours of 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel (North Bay) on Monday November 11, 2024, at 11 am. Burial will follow Tuesday in Ramore, ON.
