Male Arrested for Robbery with Knife and Probation Violations
The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) has arrested a male following a robbery call at a residence in the Lakeshore Drive area. The male was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for two counts of failing to comply with probation.
NBPS responded to a robbery at a residence in the 300 block of Lakeshore Drive on May 12, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m. The accused allegedly brandished multiple edged weapons while demanding items from the victim. Officers arrived on scene and located the accused, who was arrested without incident. During the arrest, police also executed an outstanding warrant for two additional counts of failing to comply with probation.

“The response was quick and well-coordinated by our patrol officers, who quickly de-escalated the situation, located the accused, and safely made the arrest without incident,” said A/Insp. Long. “This individual is also a repeat offender who was wanted on outstanding probation-related charges.”
The accused, Nathan Rosene, 32-year-old, male, of, North Bay, has been charged with:
- Robbery with Violence
- Assault with a Weapon
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Two Counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order for an outstanding warrant
The accused was arrested and held in custody pending a bail
