Man Charged in Road Rage Incident on Premier Road
The North Bay Police Service has arrested and charged a 25-year-old male with multiple assault and driving offences after a road rage incident on August 5, 2024.
On August 5, 2024, members of the North Bay Police Service responded to a reported road rage incident. At approximately 3:00 p.m. on August 5, 2024, both the victim and accused were driving in opposite directions on Premier Road, North Bay.
The accused changed directions and began to follow the victim’s vehicle. Both the victim and accused exited their vehicles and a physical altercation ensued. The victim then re-entered his vehicle and attempted to leave the location at which point he was again followed by the accused. The accused used his vehicle to strike the victim’s vehicle, ultimately driving the victim off the road and into a ditch, in close proximity to several children playing. The accused then pulled the victim from his vehicle and physically assaulted him. Police attended the area and arrested the accused.
The accused in this incident is Dennis Reuben Scott ROWE, male, age 25, of North Bay, who is charged with:
- One count of Assault
- One count of Assault with a Weapon
- One count of Careless driving
- One count of Dangerous operation
- One count of Mischief Under $5,000
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is set to appear before the court on September 10, 2024.
