It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Kathleen Lyle Mantha, known affectionately as Kae, at her home on Monday, January 26, 2026, at the age of 92.

Kae was predeceased by her husband Moe Mantha Sr., her daughter Andrea, her brother John, her sisters Anna Bell (Bud) Madsen and Margaret Shields, and her brothers-in-law Harold Madsen and Jim Shields.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Moe Jr. (Kathy), Bobby (Lise), and April (John). Kae was a proud grandmother to Ashley (Smith), Devin (Elizabeth), Brody, Robert (Haley), Natalie (Phil), Ryan (Kaelyn), Eric (Mary Anne), and Matty, and a cherished great-grandmother to Duke, Hudson, Ella, Allie, Brooks, and Rory. She also leaves behind her sister Nora (Dave).

Kae will be remembered by her sisters-in-law, Georgia (John Brady, d.) Sue (Bill) Cunningham and Margaret Rochon, her brother-in-law Lionel (Sally), as well as her many nieces and nephews.

Kae’s deep love for all animals was evident in her everyday life. She will be dearly missed by her beloved dog and companion Annie, and her cats “the girls” Ginger and Spice.

Kae will be remembered for her wicked sense of humor, her sharp wit, her resilience, and her love for her family. Kae lived life on her own terms, with strength, laughter, and heart, leaving behind a legacy that will be appreciated by all who knew her.
