Marcel Cloutier

 It is with grief and sadness that the Cloutier family announce the unexpected death of Marcel Normand Cloutier at 79 years of age (nee March 22, 1946 in Rouyn Noranda, Quebec, Canada) on December 12, 2025 in North Bay, Ontario. 

Marcel was the son of Irene (nee Bergeron) and Germaine; father to Annette and Morris; husband to Irene (nee Labelle) and Gloria (nee Rebellato); brother to Denise, Carole, Monique, Jean-Guy, Gisele, Jacques, France, Jeanine, and Paul; and, grandfather to Shane (maternal Hussey), Anita (maternal Hussey), Kysar (maternal Jobin), Ashley (maternal Harvey), and Leona and Sasha (nee Zuchlinski). His closest cousins were Paul Sr (nee Lalonde) and Luc Sr and Bob (nee L’heureux) and closest friend, Brian Lamothe. 

Marcel was a proud and loyal member of the International Operators Engineers Union for 55 years. He was an exceptional and self-taught crane operator and carpenter. Marcel blessed us with his life.

Now, in his death, he blesses us with his favorite prayer: “May God, grant you the serenity to accept the things you cannot change, the courage to change the things you can and the wisdom to know the difference.”
