Marie Desarmeau

Peacefully passed away at the Mattawa General Hospital on Monday August 4, 2025, at the age of 71 years.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late Rene Desarmeau and best life friend to Jim Green current partner. Marie was the loving mother to Julie Desarmeau and Charles “Chuck” Desarmeau. She was the cherished grandmother to Ethan, Jacob, Hunter, and Brooke. Marie will be greatly missed by her great-grandchildren, extended family, especially Pamela Green daughter of Jim, Michael Hutchison and many friends. She is predeceased by all of her siblings and her parents.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Friday August 8, 2025, between the hours of 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A memorial service will be held in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 pm.
