Marie Theresa Darnell-Smith
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Marie Darnell at the North Bay Regional Health Center on Friday, January 3rd, 2025, at the age of 42 years. Marie was the beloved spouse of Matthew Darnell and the loving Mother to Eddie Darnell.
Marie will be lovingly remembered by her parents, Bob and Diane Smith (nee Poitras) and her brother Ryan Smith (Alexis). Marie was also loved by her in-laws, Sue and Bill Rhoads, her sister in-law Erin Darnell (Neal) brother's in-law, Lance Darnell (Melissa) Josh Darnell and Tanner Rhoads (Victoria). Matt and Marie's family invite you to join them for a Celebration of Life at the Queen of Peace Chapel (CFB North Bay) on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025.
Visitation begins at 10:00 am, followed by a short service in the Chapel at 11:00 am (attendance optional) and a light lunch in the Visitation room after the Ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the MFRC (Military Family Resource Center North Bay).
