Maurice “Moose” Nadon
Moose passed away peacefully at the Algonquin Nursing Home on May 25, 2025, at the age of 89 years.
Beloved spouse of the late Madeleine (nee Paquette) Nadon. Loving father to Constance Poirier (Yves), Sandra Vasile (Giancarlo), and Gerald Nadon (Sylvie). Cherished grandfather to Daniel O’Grady, Alyshia O’Grady, and Paisley Nadon, great-grandfather to Cameron, Zoey, Georgia and Isabella. Moose was predeceased by his parents Wilfrid and Whilhemina (nee Therrien) Nadon, his siblings Thelma, Jeanne, Remi, Doris, Lilianne, Art and Marcel. He is survived by his sisters Martha and Patsy. Cremation has occurred.
A Memorial Mass will be conducted at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church (241 Second Street Mattawa, Ontario) on Saturday June 7, 2025, at 11am, followed by the inurnment of Moose’s cremated remains at the St. Anne’s Cemetery.
If desired donations are suggested to the Algonquin Nursing Home and would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Redhead, Brittany (family friend) and all the staff at the Algonquin Nursing Home for their care and compassion towards their father and the family over the years.
