McKeown Avenue Construction Resumes
The City of North Bay advises that Ed Seguin and Sons Trucking & Paving Ltd. will return to work on Monday, April 27 as construction on McKeown Avenue resumes.
Crews will begin raising catch basin lids to final grade and completing curb and gutter repairs.

Traffic impacts will include:
- A minimum of one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Adjustments to traffic control measures are expected daily given the nature of the work.
- Access to all businesses and residences will be maintained at all times, though access points may shift as work progresses.
- No pedestrian detours are expected at this time. If required, any detours will be clearly marked to ensure safe movement through the construction zone.
This work is part of infrastructure upgrades completed over the past two years, including watermain and sewer installation, intersection improvements, road widening to four lanes, and the addition of a multi-use path along McKeown Avenue.
With work resuming, the project is entering its final stages and is expected to be fully completed over the next two months. Remaining work includes but is not limited to installation of traffic signals at McNamara, repair of a section of trunk sanitary sewer, completion of the One Kids Place entrance, replacement of the existing sidewalk, completion of the multi-use path, and final lift of asphalt.
