Michel "Mike" Joly
Peacefully passed away at his home on Thursday February 6, 2025, at the age of 81 years. Mike was the beloved husband of Rose (nee Yaw) Joly, and the loving father to Tina Francioni (Dave), Andre Joly, and Janet Joly.
He was the cherished grandfather to Matthew, Isabella, Tristen, and Kieren. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Maurice Joly (Glenice) and Gisele Joly. Michel is predeceased by his brother Gilbert Joly (Jackie), as well as his parents Lucien Joly, and Fernande (nee Martel) Joly.
The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday February 12, 2025, between the hours of 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and the family is requesting that in honouring Michel’s love of hockey that visitors wear their favourite hockey jersey to the visitation.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Thursday February 13, 2025, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian cancer society would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
