Military appreciation games coming up for the Lakers
The Nipissing Lakers hockey teams are once again showing support for the military.
The men’s military appreciation game is this Saturday, Jan. 17 against Ontario Tech, at 4 pm at Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens.
It’s their 15th military appreciation game
The Nipissing women play their 4th match-up on Jan. 24 versus the University of Ottawa.
The Lakers will wear special camouflage uniforms which will be auctioned off after the game.
All proceeds will support the Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC).
The events are being hosted by Lakers Athletics, in partnership with the MFRC and 22 Wing CFB North Bay.
