Minweyaang Round Dance is back!

 We look forward to gathering in a good way and sharing this special evening, everyone is welcome

We are excited to invite our community to the Annual Minweyaang Round Dance, a meaningful Indigenous cultural gathering centered on healing, connection, and tradition.

When: Saturday, March 7, 2026

Where: 36 Semo Road, Garden Village, Ontario

 About the Event:

The Round Dance is a traditional Indigenous social dance held during the winter months and includes elements of ceremony. It is a healing event open to everyone—children, youth, adults, Elders, friends, and families are all welcome to come together to experience cultural teachings, ceremony, and community.

 Schedule:

•Pipe Ceremony & Feast: 4:00 p.m.

•Round Dance: 6:30 p.m. – Midnight

 What to Bring:

•Water bottles

•Feast bundles/kits

•Guests are invited to bring a pork-free feast offering

•Guests are welcome to bring a photo of your passed loved one to honour them during the memorial ceremony.

This is an alcohol- and drug-free event and is open to all.
