MOFFATT, Amber Lee
October 21, 1986 - December 17, 2024
It is with the heaviest of hearts we share news of the loss of our beloved Amber Lee Moffatt. Amber was known and admired by many people within all the diverse facets of her life. Her loss is felt immensely by all. She is survived by her two sons William Miller and Jack Miller, sister Dawn Moffatt (Troy Campbell), her father Gary Moffatt, step father Doug Ross, and step sisters Cheryl and Tanya Ross. Countless cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, students and coworkers are going to miss her for many times to come. Her late mother Sharon Ross (ne Moffatt ne Condie) was already waiting on the other side to take Amber in to her arms.
Amber was an adventurer, unmatched board sports athlete and instructor, an amazing mother, fierce friend, fisherman, lake lover, artist and musician. She lived her life the only way she knew. Her way.
Amber’s best days would have always included boating weekends on Lake Nipissing headed out to the camp at Cross Point, days spent at the skate park or ski hill hanging with her skate and snowboard community, any time on the water kayaking and paddle boarding, and any moment out off the beaten path with her dogs Laska and Bonnie.
Amber lived life fast, hard, and fearless. The void she will leave behind in this world is unmatched and everyone that had the opportunity to know and love her can confirm. In the 38 years that Amber graced this earth, she lived and loved more than some could in several lifetimes.
No service will be held in the immediate future, however plans to celebrate Amber in the way she deserves will be shared when they are arranged.
For those looking to contribute in some way to honour Amber’s memory, a donation to the her boys can be made at a GoFundMe page that has been set up for them titled: Support for Amber’s boys Will and Jack. https://www.gofundme.com/f/ambers-boys-will-and-jack?attribution_id=sl:85163734-d03f-4b74-aae6-59df64cbe28c&utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=instagram_story
