More Good Work From The North Bay Police
Officers from the North Bay Police Service arrested and charged two males and two females with drug trafficking offences and seized drugs and Canadian currency on January 11th, 2024.
On January 11th, members of the North Bay Police Service Street Crime Unit, along with members of the Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant on a Karla Street residence. Upon entry to the residence, several individuals were taken into custody, in relation to an on-going illegal drug investigation. As a result of the investigation, 4 people were charged with drug-trafficking offences, and were released on an Undertaking to appear in court on a later date.
The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $10,500.
In total, subsequent searches by police resulted in the seizure of:
· Approximately 102.7 grams of suspected cocaine
· Approximately 1 gram of suspected crystal methamphetamine
· Approximately 1 gram of suspected Fentanyl
· $1225 in Canadian currency
The accused in this matter are:
Albert BLAIS, male, age 41, of North Bay, who is charged with:
· Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
· One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Amanda Larue, female, age 27, of North Bay, who is charged with:
· Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
· One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Sarah CARRIERE, female, age 37, of Bonfield, who is charged with:
· Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
· One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Raphael DUSCHESNE, male, age 39, of North Bay, who is charged with:
· Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
· One count of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
