Much-anticipated home improvement event returns
Groundhog predictions and this week’s warmer temperatures aren’t the only signs of spring.
The North Bay Home & Garden Expo is back at Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens this weekend (Feb. 20-22).
Officials say it’s the region’s largest and most anticipated home improvement event, adding they expect to build on last year’s record-breaking attendance and the successful launch of the Pet Expo.
Exhibitor space sold out last year, with more than 5,000 people taking in the three-day event.

“This event has become a true sign that spring is around the corner,” says Scott Clark, Event Organizer. “Each year, we see growing excitement from homeowners, renovators, and families who are ready to plan their next project. The Expo is no longer just a trade show — it’s a community event that brings thousands together in the middle of winter.”
More than 90 vendors are expected to showcase the latest in home construction, renovations, landscaping, gardening, décor, sustainable living solutions, and more.
The Pet Expo debuted at last year’s show and is expanding this year to include even more local pet-focused vendors, services, and interactive features
“The Pet Expo created incredible energy last year,” says Clark. “It brought a whole new audience to the show and added a family-friendly atmosphere that really resonated. In 2026, it will be more interactive and even more engaging.”
