‘Muck Out’ robotics competition launches Saturday
Registration is now open for a beginner-friendly robotics competition.
It’s called ‘Muck Out’, and FIRST Team 1305 says students will get a kit, build their own robot, and bring it to the Mine Bot competition, which features a mining-themed game.
Students in grades 8 and up, can register on their own, or with one teammate.

Launch day is this Saturday at Canadore College’s Commerce Court Campus.
The competition is being held Nov. 21.
Along with the game, teams will also score points for showcasing how they designed their robot and present their design journey.
