Nancy Reise (nee MacDonald)
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Nancy Reise (nee MacDonald) announce her passing at North Bay Regional Hospital on Wednesday April 15, 2026. Having courageously beaten cancer twice she was unable to beat it one more time.
The family would like to thank Dr. Spencer and the many other Doctors, Nurses, PSW’s and support staff that made her final days the most comfortable she could have.
Nancy will be missed by her husband of nearly 64 years, Ernest Reise. She was a loving mother to Kathy Jackson of St. Catherines, Michael (Donna) of North Bay and predeceased by David (Kathleen) of Hamilton. Cherished by her grandchildren; Cassy, Ryan (Meganne) and Madison and her great children; Rylee, Emersyn and Brady. Nancy was the daughter to Harry and Kay MacDonald and the oldest of 3 children; predeceased by Albert (Linda), of Hamilton and Richard of Australia. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and former sister-in-law Mary Jo.
Nancy was born and raised in West Lincoln where she met Ernie and they married in 1962. Ernie’s career had them moving around from job site to job site and after retirement they moved to the North Bay area in 1989 to be closer to their son and grandchildren.
Cremation has already taken place and the family will be holding a celebration of life on Saturday April 25th between 2-5 pm at The Laurentian Wesleyan Church, 529 McKay Ave. North Bay, a light luncheon will be available.
