Did you know that the Mattawa River in our watershed is one of 12 Heritage Rivers in Ontario and yesterday the Canadian Rivers Heritage System celebrated 40 years!

Mattawa River was designated a Heritage River in 1988 for its natural, cultural and recreational heritage.
