RANDALL, Merle

The family of Merle (Margaret) Randall are saddened by her passing on Thursday, August 15 2024 (at 82 years of age). She was the beloved wife of Garnet (Herbert) Randall and the much loved/ loving mother of Melanee Armstrong (Loren) of Bracebridge, Wendee Greer (Randy) of North Bay and Tandee Rhese (Myles) of Edmonton. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Lynlee Armstrong (Andrew), Annie Schell (Luke), Luke Armstrong and Ashley Greer (Joel). Predeceased by her parents Peter and Mary St. Arnaud and her 3 older sisters, Flo Richardet (Art), Bea Richert (Ed) and Bertie MacGillivary (Jack). She will be missed by her numerous nieces and nephews as well as all those whose lives she has touched.

Merle enjoyed going on adventures. They could be to visit family wherever they may be, cheering on her grandchildren at sporting events, camping in her younger years, cottaging later, a cruise or attending conventions in various locations including Texas and Switzerland!
Merle was a knitter. Throughout the years, friends and family have been the recipients of her blankets, sweaters, socks, hats, mitts and dishcloths. She also was a skilled seamstress specializing in dresses for ‘the girls’ and doing repairs when called upon.
Gathering for a card game, sharing a meal, reminiscing and various family pets all added joy to her life.

A Memorial service for family and friends will take place at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (1120 Priemer Rd. North Bay) on Saturday, September 14 at 1:00 p.m..

If desired, donations to donate.jw.org (Lakeview Congregation) or Nipissing Serenity Hospice, where she received excellent end of life care, would be appreciated by her family.
