Nearly $560,000 raised for CHAT4CHAD
The 4th annual CHAT4CHAD fundraising gala raised $558,000 for mental health programs and projects in North Bay.
The event took place at Canadore College’s Aviation Hangar this past Saturday.
“We increased mental health awareness in ways that I could only have dreamt of three years ago,” says Wade Ringler, Chat4Chad founder. “To see 650 people standing in solidarity with our mental health message was absolutely incredible, and deeply emotional. My family, our organizers and our community partners are so thankful for the support that the North Bay community has shown for mental health, and we have no doubt that lives will be saved with this increased awareness.”

Officials say CHAT4CHAD was founded in the wake of Chad Ringler’s death in 2023, after years of struggling with mental health.
Since then, they’ve raised more than $1.4 million and helped bring resources and funding to the area to benefit those experiencing mental health challenges.
