1943-2024
It is heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerald on May 14th,2024 at the North Bay Regional Health Center at the age of 80 surrounded by the love of his family. Loving spouse of 57 years to Georgette Neault. Proud father of Joseph and Loving grandfather to Jeremy Ducharme.
We find comfort in knowing that Gerald has now been reunited with his daughter Angela Neault who passed July 13, 2019. Also predeceased by his parents Monica and Lugar as well as several of his siblings. Survived by his brother Bill (Elvina), and his sister Peggy as well as an army of nieces and nephews who will all fondly remember their uncle Jr.
Gerald enjoyed his career as a heavy machine operator and mechanic with Periard Construction. We’ll treasure our memories of family camping trips, fishing and boating during the summer and snowmobiling during the winter.
As per his wishes cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Church on June 14th, 2024 at 11 am followed by a Committal Service at Holy Cross Cemetery.
A heartfelt thank you to the outstanding staff at the NBRHC for their devotion to care. In lieu of flowers donations to the NBRHC foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
