Nipissing hosting talk with Charlie Angus

Outgoing Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus is speaking at Nipissing University Thursday evening.
The university’s department of history is hosting Angus for the eleventh annual Clendinning Memorial Lecture.
Officials say the politician, author and musician is an outspoken advocate for unity against the threat of divisive leadership.
They add he’s presenting his talk, “Restoring Dangerous Memories to our Shared Histories” on how history challenges us to confront the injustices of today.
Admission is free.
