Nipissing University Speakers Showcase
The NU360 Speaker Night is an annual tradition, part of Nipissing University’s Research Month celebrations, that showcases the diverse research happening at the University through a series of six-minute faculty presentations on a variety of topics impacting our world. This event is free to attend and open to the public on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event is taking place at the Nipissing University Student Union (NUSU) Student Centre on College Drive Free parking is available in Lot 1 and accessible parking will be available in the NUSU Student Centre lot.
The NU360 Speaker Night will feature presentations from the following researchers:

The Gendered Division of Housework and Fertility Intention in Canada – Dr. Amir Erfani
The World Upside Down: Truth, Reconciliation, and Noir – Dr. Tyson Stewart
Nano-Scalpel: The Engagement of Nanotechnology and Medicine – Dr. Ali Hatef
Bringing our Ancestors Home: The Chicago Field Museum/Robinson Huron Treaty Repatriation Project – Dr. Kirsten Greer and Randy Restoule (Dokis First Nation)
