No worries if you see Increased Police Presents in Birchaven

If you see more Police than usual on Lake Heights Road today and tomorrow, there is no reason to worry. Canadore College wishes to inform the public that the East Region Ontario Provincial Police Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) will be conducting training exercises in North Bay on Tuesday, July 30, and Wednesday, July 31.

• Tuesday, July 30: Exercises will begin in the morning at the Canadore College Drive Campus residence and move to the former E.W. Norman School on Lake Heights Road in the afternoon. A helicopter could be part of the scenario, and the training may continue into the evening.
• Wednesday, July 31: Training will continue in the morning at the Lake Heights Road location.
