NOJHL releases rebranded logo

The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) announced Monday the rebranding of its logo, effective immediately, heading into the upcoming 2025-26 season and beyond.

Featuring a colour scheme of multiple blues, grey, white and red, the logo was prepared by illustrator and graphic designer Paul Ainsworth.

No stranger to the league, Ainsworth is an alumnus of the NOJHL and played his junior hockey previously with his hometown Timmins Golden Bears in the 1990s.

“Leagues such as the NOJHL are continually evolving, on and off the ice, and the first-rate graphics of the new league logo supplied by Paul Ainsworth will aid us in that pursuit,” offered commissioner Robert Mazzuca.

“Our brand remains one of the areas the NOJHL board and each of our member clubs frequently looks at in ways to improve and we believe we’ve accomplished that in this area, with the new logo,” Mazzuca added.

League preseason play begins in the coming days while the regular season gets underway September 11, featuring the annual NOJHL Showcase, October 7-8, at Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex in Sudbury.
